Math word problem solver
Word problems are hard because the math is hidden inside sentences. This solver does the translation out loud: it underlines what is given, names the unknown, turns each phrase into an equation, and only then solves. The last step always goes back to the story to check the answer makes sense.

How to get the most out of it
- Read the question first. Write down what is asked, with units.
- Name the unknown with a letter and describe the other quantities in terms of it ("twice as many" becomes 2t).
- Translate connecting words: "together" and "total" mean add, "per" means divide, "more than" means add, "of" with a percent means multiply.
- Solve the equation, then substitute back into the original sentence, not just the equation.

FAQ
Can it read a word problem from a photo?
Yes. Photograph the paragraph; the math word problem solver reads the text and treats it like typed input. Make sure the whole sentence is in frame.
What if the problem has a diagram?
Include the diagram in the photo. Labels on the figure (lengths, angles) are read along with the text.
Does it handle percent, ratio and rate problems?
Yes: discounts, markups, speed-distance-time, mixing, and "twice as many" style problems are the bread and butter here.
