Terms of service

1. Who we are
Solvecam is operated by an independent software business (the "operator", "we"). For service questions, contact support@solvecam.com. By using the site you agree to these terms.
2. The service
Solvecam provides AI-generated, step-by-step solutions to mathematics problems that you submit by photo, screenshot or text. It is a study aid. It is not tutoring, not an assessment service, and not a substitute for instruction. The service solves mathematics only and will decline other requests.
3. Accuracy: AI can be wrong
Solutions are produced by an artificial intelligence system. They may be wrong, incomplete, or based on a misread of your photo, and the same problem may be solved differently on different attempts. Every solution shows the problem as it was read and ends with a check line; you are responsible for checking any result before relying on it. We do not guarantee correctness, grades, or outcomes, and the service must not be relied on where an error could cause harm.
4. Acceptable use
- Follow your school's or university's academic integrity rules. Do not use the service during a live exam, test or quiz, or where its use is prohibited.
- Submit only content you have the right to share. Do not upload photos of other people, personal documents, or anything other than math problems.
- Do not attempt to overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or circumvent the free limits or security of the service. Automated access requires our written permission.
We may block or terminate access that breaks these rules.
5. Free use and Plus subscriptions
Free use is limited to 3 solutions per device per day and may change. Plus is a paid subscription at $6.99 per month or $39.99 per year (USD, taxes may be added at checkout depending on your location). Plus renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page or by emailing us; access continues to the end of the period already paid for, and no further charges are made. Payments are processed by our payment processor; their terms apply to the payment itself.
6. Refunds
If Plus does not work for you, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we refund it in full, no questions asked. Renewal payments are refundable within 14 days of the charge if you have not used Plus features (unlimited solves, another method, image export) during that period. Refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10 business days. Where consumer law in your country gives you stronger rights, those rights apply.
7. Accounts
You sign in with a one-time email link; keep access to that email address secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time (see the privacy policy).
8. Content and intellectual property
You keep all rights to the problems you submit. You grant us only the licence needed to process them and return a solution. The solutions are generated for your personal, non-commercial study use. The site's design, text and code are ours.
9. Availability and changes
We aim for the service to be available at all times but do not guarantee it. We may change features, limits, prices (with notice before your next renewal) or these terms; continued use after a change means you accept it. If we discontinue Plus, we refund the unused part of your subscription.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for lost grades or opportunities, or for decisions made in reliance on a solution. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Governing law and disputes
Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. We try to settle any dispute by email first.
