Geometry solver with steps

Geometry problems are formula problems with a picture attached. The solver writes the formula before plugging anything in, keeps units through every line, and gives both the exact form (49π) and the decimal. Photograph the figure and the labels are read along with the question.

How to get the most out of it

    1. Photograph the whole figure including labels, or describe it in words.
    2. Check that the solver identified the right shape and the right formula (area, not circumference).
    3. Keep units: cm for lengths, cm² for areas, cm³ for volumes.
    4. Sanity-check the size: a circle is about 78% of the square around it; a 6-8 right triangle has a hypotenuse of 10.

A note for parents. The solver is most useful after your child has tried the problem. Compare their work with the steps and find the first line where they differ; that line is the thing to practise.

    FAQ

    Can it read a diagram?

Yes. Side lengths, angle marks and labels in the photo are used. Unlabelled lengths are not guessed.

    Exact or decimal answers?

Both. The exact form (with π or a square root) comes first, then a rounded decimal.

    Does it do proofs?

Two-column proofs are not in the current version. Numeric and algebraic geometry problems are.
